Hi everyone—I'm Gabi (she/her).
Originally from Long Island, New York, I grew up being drawn to media and entertainment. Much like our students, technology became a pillar of my identity. I'm super excited to be here during the next 2 weeks with all of you to learn more about the modern media landscape to better help our kids learn :)

I went to college in Philadelphia, and worked in a Kindergarten classroom for 2 years at a public school in West Philly. (Fun fact: the school I worked in is actually the one that the show "Abbott Elementary" is based on!) After taking some time off from the classroom, I am excited to be back with students!
